Schools in Mind is a free network set up by the Anna Freud National Centre for Children and Families for school staff and allied professionals that shares practical, academic and clinical expertise regarding the wellbeing and mental health issues which affect schools.

The Centre knows that schools are on the frontline when it comes to children’s mental health. School leaders and teaching staff work hard each day to support the mental health and wellbeing of their pupils. Schools in Mind aims to support staff through:

  • distribution of resources that aim to provide practical tips for supporting mental health and wellbeing in schools

  • exclusive invites to training and termly Schools in Mind briefing events

  • expert advice and guidance videos offering support and advice to schools on a variety of issues
