A warm welcome to the ASCL BAME Leaders' Network

The BAME Network is just one branch, along with the LGBT and Women’s Networks that have emerged a result of ASCL’s Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Plan.

The purpose of the group is to come together to discuss how we can bring about structural changes across the education sector, work with our white allies, and consider how we can support other BAME leaders through our offer of coaching and mentoring. If you would like to get in touch with any of the leaders who have kindly offered to act as coaches and mentors, please contact them via the email link in their bios detailed below to take matters further.  The network is seen as a ‘safe space’ for BAME leaders and as Chair, I would be delighted to welcome you to join our group.
