ASCL Conference for New Headteachers 2020

Keynote takes place 7 July with workshop sessions taking place 13 – 17 July

Suitable for colleagues taking on their first headship/head of school position from September 2020 and those who started their first headship in the last 6 to 12 months in either primary or secondary. The conference will also be very helpful for colleagues taking on an Acting/Interim Headteacher role.

Following the success of our 2019 Conference for New Headteachers, we are delighted to launch our 2020 event which will be delivered entirely online.

This unique conference will combine the experience of established headteachers, the latest policy thinking and practical tips to help you make a successful transition to headship.

Set in the context of the first 100 days of headship and beyond, the conference will help you establish a firm platform for balancing the creation and delivery of your vision for your school with the everyday challenges and demands of your new role.

The ASCL Conference for New Headteachers costs £75 plus VAT for one participant to attend the live keynote session and a selection of the workshop sessions (multiple workshops will run at the same time so it will not be possible to attend all sessions live). A recording of every session will also be forwarded to delegates along with additional resources from the workshop facilitators.

To attend the live sessions, please ensure you have access to a computer or device that meets the system requirements.
