ASCL Spring Data Leader Conference

The Bridgewater Hall

Following on from our successful Autumn Data Conferences, our spring events will enable senior leaders with responsibility for data to plan ahead for the summer term and into the next academic year.

On 1 February, secondary schools received their confirmed data and which was published on the schools' performance website. This conference enables you to make sense of your finalised performance data, where to find different data on different platforms, and how to use this to inform school improvement.

Speakers and sessions will cover:

  • policy updates following the GCSE and post-16 February data release
  • key trends in the confirmed 22/23 data
  • ASP, IDSR and FFT: what’s the difference and how to use them effectively
  • preparing for the summer exam series and what to expect in August
  • using your data to plan for school improvement in the summer term
  • Understanding how AI is affecting assessments and NEA
The conference will cover key trends to look out for and how to use that information to successfully plan for the exam season and into the autumn. There will also be updates on data developments since the autumn conferences and our discussions with the DfE, Ofsted and Ofqual as well as hearing from serving school leaders and specialists on a range of topics.

Both autumn term conferences were sold out, so book your place now to avoid disappointment.
