The materials provided will include:

  • extensive guidance notes
  • suggested approaches for implementation
  • an Excel workbook subdivided for primary, secondary, middle and all-through schools (either academies or LA maintained). There will also be a section for MATs with several different school types within their structure. The workbook is designed to allow simple modifications by the user, enabling them to create an ICFP tool which specifically suits their own organisation

It will be essential for delegates to complete a data collection sheet which will be issued in advance. This will be issued once booking is confirmed. Dummy data will be available to use if delegates are not able to complete the data collection sheet, but this should be a last resort. Significantly more meaningful outcomes will be delivered using actual school data.  

This data collection sheet should be brought to the workshop on a fully charged laptop which runs Excel.

This workshop is suitable for headteachers, principals, deputy headteachers, assistant headteachers, school business leaders, school business managers, finance directors, and senior leaders with responsibility for curriculum design. It is relevant to primary and secondary phases.

To benefit fully from the workshop, it is strongly recommended a representative of both the curriculum and finance teams attend from one organisation to work as a pair.
