Leading On - Developing your organisation's online presence

The reputation of a school or college has always been important. As more and more people consume their ‘news’ online (approximately 65% of UK adults), a growing trend for immediate news stories, online comment and the ability for people to broadcast their ‘stories’ to their friends and local communities, schools, colleges and trusts increasingly need to consider what their online profile looks like. And, more importantly, what the organisation’s online presence looks like.

This session will focus on the importance of an online presence together with practical advice for educational organisations on creating and building their profile.

It will discuss the benefits of different channels for communicating and explore how leaders can make sure the online activity their organisation engages in has the right impact.

Participants will:

  • understand how to evaluate and measure the impact of activity to develop online presence
There will also be the opportunity to ask questions and share ideas with other attendees.
 

This session is designed for all senior leaders in schools, colleges and trusts across all phases of education.
