Leading On - Skills and Post-16 Education Bill: Local Skills Improvement Plan

The Government Skills and Post-16 Bill, published in May 2021, has thrown down the gauntlet to colleges to establish regional and local skills needs with employers and plan the delivery of programmes to meet those needs. This will involve working with employer groups, such as the Chambers of Commerce, as well as large and small employers themselves. Some of that work will be funded by the Skills Development Fund.

This webinar introduces the participant to one of the successful Skills Improvement plan pilots and look at how employers and colleges are working together.
