Leading On - Using coaching to be a more effective leader

Following Trish’s popular session at ASCL Annual Conference 2021, this webinar will give the opportunity for participants to revisit this concept in more detail.

Coaching can help leaders prepare for leadership and develop leadership competencies, understand the perceptions of ‘me as a leader’ and set priorities while keeping focused on the big picture. It also provides the opportunity for individuals to determine who they want to be as well as what they do and with an all-important focus on achieving a better life/work balance.

The webinar will seek to examine what coaching really means and its impact on leaders at all levels. It will explore questions including:

  1. Why coaching?
  2. What does good coaching look like – great listening, great speaking, effective conversations and powerful questioning
  3. How do we develop our self-awareness - stepping out of our comfort zones, managing our inner critic
  4. How do we empower leaders at all levels?
