The 2022 STPCD was published 13 October
here. In addition to confirming the 2022 pay awards, the Document also includes the additional bank holiday for the late Queen’s funeral on 19 September. This means that there is a reduction in directed time from 195/190 to 194/189 days, and from 1265 to 1258.5 hours. Employers should ensure that this reduction is also applied to part-time teachers with the pro-rata proportion applied to 1258.5 hours rather than 1265.
The
2022 Pay Order has now been laid in Parliament and is due to come into effect on 3 November. Once employers have consulted on any changes to their pay policies, they may now finalise them.
