Soulbury Officers’ (Blue Book) Pay Award 2026/27

April 2026
The Soulbury Officers’ Side submitted its pay and conditions claim to the Employers’ Side for the period 1 September 2026 to 31 August 2027. The key points of the claim are:
 
  • A pay increase of at least RPI inflation plus five per cent on all pay points and allowances, which will begin to address the substantial real terms cuts to Soulbury pay.
  • Discussions to continue on the SPA system and London Area Payments, as agreed in the pay agreement for 2025.

June 2026
On 30 June, the Employers’ Side made a pay offer to the Officers’ Side for 2026. The one-year offer was for:
 
  • an increase of 3.6 per cent on all pay points as a consolidated, permanent increase with effect from 1 September 2026
  • an increase of 3.6 per cent on all allowances as a consolidated, permanent increase with effect from 1 September 2026.

July 2026
On 28 July, agreement was reached on the Soulbury Officers’ pay award for 2026. The details of the pay award:
 
  • An increase of 3.6 per cent on all spinal column points (SCPs) with effect from 1 September 2026.
  • An increase of 3.6 per cent on all allowances with effect from 1 September 2026.
If requested by an ex-employee to do so, Soulbury Committee recommends that employers should pay any monies due to that employee from 1 September 2026 to the employee’s last day of employment.
