The MAT Tech Leadership Series: Strategy, security and the future

This three-part webinar series, delivered in partnership with Afinite, is designed for MAT leaders navigating an increasingly complex digital landscape. Across IT strategy, cyber resilience and emerging technologies like AI, the series focuses on practical leadership decisions, moving beyond reactive IT to confident, aligned, future-ready digital environments that genuinely support pupils, staff, and trust outcomes.

The series will feature speakers from ASCL, Afinite, Microsoft, Palo Alto Networks, and Westcoast Cloud.

You will receive the registration link for all the sessions once you have booked and you can then choose whichever session you wish to attend.

Many MATs are still operating with fragmented systems, inherited contracts, and reactive IT teams that make long-term progress difficult. This session explores how trust leaders are moving beyond firefighting to build aligned, strategic IT foundations that genuinely support educational outcomes, growth, and resilience.

AI, Copilot, data platforms, and emerging technologies are already reshaping how MATs operate but separating value from noise is increasingly difficult. This session cuts through the hype to explore what’s genuinely useful now, what’s coming next, and how trusts can adopt new technology strategically, safely, and with confidence.
