Aspiring to Headship

Are you likely to be applying for a headship role within the next 12 months? Our one-day course will help ensure that you are able to apply with confidence and perform highly throughout the selection process. 

This intensive one-day course will cover a wide range of areas relevant to headship, and offers a balance of activities between those that mirror the activities likely to be part of a headship selection process and those which will further enhance and develop your knowledge and skills in the key domains required at headship level.

Delegates will be required to submit a letter of application for headship and prepare a presentation.  Full details will be advised at the time of booking.

This course is suitable for deputy headteachers and assistant headteachers in secondary and post-16 education.
