Health and safety: the latest guidance, inspections, and prosecutions
This health and safety briefing will provide an update of the latest activities from the HSE. To help raise awareness and understanding of recent policy changes to statutory guidance, inspection activities, and enforcement actions of the regulator specifically relating to education settings. The briefing will cover the latest guidance, the HSE’s role relating to covid, asbestos management, inspection and enforcement action, and case studies from recent prosecutions of responsible bodies. We will also cover the emerging issue of reinforced autoclaved aerated concrete (RAAC) in school buildings and the guidance recently issued by the government.
