This is a webinar for primary school leaders preparing for inspection. It is delivered by a school leader who has very recently been through the inspection process after (due to the old Outstanding schools rule) over 12 years of waiting. The webinar will focus on the leadership challenges; the School Improvement Plan (SIP); delegated leadership (positives and challenges); where to focus, and where to be brave; how to ensure the full support of governors; how to ensure parents and the wider community are supported (and supportive!).

Creating a successful curriculum for Early Years in Primary
This session will focus on the Early Years curriculum for reception class. It will begin by focusing on how to get started and how to know here to make changes and where. Antonia will talk about how to measure impact and when to change direction if needed. Antonia will talk though her own experiences – where she met challenges and how she dealt with them – and how to establish a successful and effective progression model in reading – and how you know it works. She will also talk though her experience in a recent early years inspection deep dive including what was asked and how she successfully provided effective evidence.
