Would you like to lead a vibrant, happy and successful school?

Governors are seeking to appoint a suitably experienced and inspirational headteacher for this popular, high-achieving and highly inclusive school. Applications are welcomed from experienced headteachers or ambitious deputy headteachers with the necessary qualities and skills to lead our school in the next, exciting stage of its development.

We are looking for a leader who has excellent interpersonal skills, ideas, drive and enthusiasm. The successful candidate must have a genuine interest in developing people, both students and staff, an absolute belief in inclusive education and a real desire to make a difference.

We are lucky to be based in a relatively new building, with great facilities, on a beautiful site on the edge of the Peak District National Park. We offer a highly supportive environment, well-motivated students and the chance to join a brilliant staff team.

We are passionate about using evidence-informed practices in teaching and learning, curriculum, behaviour management and CPD. We value teachers as experts in their subject and provide them with high levels of trust and autonomy. We are committed to staff well-being and have high levels of staff retention.

Closing date for applications: 9.00am on Monday 18 November 2024
Interview dates: Wednesday 4 December and Thursday 5 December 2024

We would strongly encourage candidates to visit the school to learn about our work. Please contact Diane Hibbert, PA to leadership group, at recruitment@chapelhigh.org.uk to arrange a visit.
