ASCL Data Leader and Accountability Conference

Eastside Rooms, Birmingham

Making sense of data and accountabilty for the year ahead.

Following on from our successful Autumn Data Leader Conferences, our spring event will enable senior leaders with responsibility for data and school/trust outcomes to plan ahead for the summer term and into the next academic year.

This conference is a one-stop shop, covering all you need to know for the exam season and the months that follow, and taking you up to our ASCL Data Leader and School Accountability Conferences in the autumn term of 2025 (register your interest here).

The conferences will build on the content delivered in the autumn and following our useful format the event will cover:

  • policy updates following the GCSE and post-16 February data release
  • relevant updates to post-16 qualifications
  • using FFT for more effective transition and target setting
  • preparing for the summer exam series, and what to expect in August
  • what to expect from Ofsted in the months and year ahead
  • using your data to plan for school improvement in the summer term, including a case study on effective use of the Question Level Analysis (QLA) tool.
We’ll cover key trends to look out for and how to use that information to successfully plan for the exam season and into the autumn, we’ll also update you on data developments since the autumn conferences and our discussions with the DfE, Ofsted and Ofqual as well as hearing from our own ASCL specialists.

Both of our Data Leader Conferences in autumn sold out, so book your place now to avoid disappointment.
