Introducing ASCL’s new Transition Conference, focused on the successful transition from primary to secondary.
Each session of the conference focuses on the following themes:
- The principles behind successful transition
- Using data to support transition, including the use of QLA
- How to sequence your KS3 curriculum and enrichment offer for transition
- Wellbeing and mental health: how to coordinate knowledge of young people’s needs
- Pastoral and SEND considerations during transition
Each session will include a panel of practising school leaders, as well as additional contributions from DfE, ASCL staff and other organisations.
